i missed school today.

i missed the whole weekend of school and i missed today.

why? cuz today, i had stomach thingy. grr. food poisoning. stupid lechon. grr.

im SO behind homework. i hope someone will help me. please please please! even if you're not in my school, help me study!

okay now that im less hyper and loopy about that guy.. i'll tell you more about the homecoming than him okay?? not that i can stop myself. hes just so darn cute=)

so it was my granddad's 50th Homecoming, meaning he's a Golden Jubilarian. Which is soooo awesome.

so when we arrived in Baguio, the whole hotel was filled with PMAers (graduates from Philippine Millitary Academy). the elite, the cream of the millitary...

it was really cold in Baguio,cuz it was the City Of Pines. Or maybe cuz it was on a mountain, but yeah. Most of it is practically untouched by humans... au naturale.

So on Friday, it was the official beginning of the Homecoming. Most batches had their class dinner that night. so did my granddad's. this was kind of my "first sight" with that guy. *sigh*

it was done in one of the houses and the food was great. We went home at around 10.30pm along with everyone else cause there was the parade the next day. NOONE wanted to be LATE!

the next morning, we made our way to the PMA campus.. It was beautiful. Most of the recruits were practising for the parade while the alumni were gathering in the field. After the parade, we made our way to this hall place, for the Golden Jubilee Lunch. but GRR. the idiot Silver Jubilarians didnt let the food arrive on time. Nakaka awa nga yung mga lolo at lola. Old, tired and HUNGRY and there was NO food.

well, we called our bus and every1 got on. There was a ttraffic jam so i got to stay with that dude longer. but yeah, it was okay i guess. my ipod kept me company. i soooo regret not talking to him. cuz his friend was asleep, and he was bored, and so was i. awwww *sniff*

okay so later that night, we had the formal dinner thingy. we all sat at these round tables. so formal... we had a buffet dinner. the food was great. The PMAers and their wives all said something at the podium, and then they sang to each other. Then we had the dancing time. Tito Adjo danced with everyone! haha. it was cool.

After dancing, we had to take pictures. All the graduates and their wives took their places. After about 10minutes of clicking, they asked 3rd Gen to join. Cuz if they asked 2nd Gen, who would take the pictures? lol. anyway, after another 5minutes of clicking with 3rd Gen, we passed the cameras to the waiters and such so we could all be together. lalalala.

after that, we did some administrative stuff, like the bus plans.. And then we hung out there for a while, waiting for our grandparents to finish their chat. AGAIN, i didnt talk to the lonely boy. NOW I HATE MYSELF FOR IT.

well, that would have been the last time i saw him, but that night, i hoped and i prayed and everything. Well, i was glad i saw him the next day.

the next day, the bus left at 9am, so i didnt get to see the Adalem family. I did see his family though. We were having this awesome buffet breakfast with my family. I kept looking to see if he had left.

Finally, when it was time to take our final pictures, i saw him leading his mom to the courtyard/pond to where we were. And he just walked past, turned around, walked past again. coolness. i hope he heard me telling my ninang my email. i hope so. i think he heard it. i hope he did. gahhhhh.

so that was the last sight. only a day's difference from first, to last. well, the trip overall was fun.

then when we got back to manila, i went for a haircut at South Salon, then went shopping at SM. again. i was soo attached to philippines by then that i dreaded coming back to singapore. I was already speaking tagalog in almost every sentence to everyone i met. How was i supposed to come back to singapore (chinese colony) and not feel weird... anyway, i'm hoping the principal will allow me to go back next year as well.. i just hope i can go back. it IS special in its own right. besides, there might not be much reunions left, seeing as the celebrants are quite old by now... ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

okay so here's the thing.

PMA HOMECOMING - GOLDEN JUBILEE!!!

on wednesday night, at 12am, i left for the philippines. i arrived at 4.30 at NAIA. errr we were brought to the house and then i had breakfast... left for Bagiuo at around 7.

we arrived at lunchtime i guess. and then we had lunch nearby. then we unloaded, we went to SM to SHOPP!!!! SURPLUS is my new favorite store. cuz it has all my favorite brands. like, DUH ABERCROMBIE.

and HOLLISTER.

and it was FREEZING. to me. i mean, 10degrees?!?!?!?! yeah. so we crashed back at the hotel later..

next morning, we went horseback riding. me and dear cousin of mine. we went on this mountain trail thingy. it was awesome. the VIEW was awesome. we went to the top of that mountain. COOL. but i felt bad. cuz my other dear cousin wasnt there. awwwww. (shes right next to me(=)

so later, we had this dinner thing at one of the PMAers houses. it was cool. ooooh and i saw this DUDE who was looking fiiiiiine.

gosh he was cute. he looked like Sam Concepcion. a little. and he was soo sweet to his little "sister". SENSITIVE.

so i hoped i would see him again the next day, at the parade thingy. well, i didnt see him there. but at the lunch place i did. but we didnt eat lunch. no one did. cuz nothing was prepared. GRRRR.

but, dear cousin number2 said he was taking pictures when i wasnt looking. well i was actually. i THOUGHT i saw him do it, and now its confirmed. i wish he was mine. or atleast i wish i talked to him. i'll get to that later. TADAHHHHH. gosh he was cute.

so i sat behind him in the bus. wow he was soo cute. anyway, when my family of FOURTEEN was getting off, he was like, "MOM ARE WE GETTING OFF HERE AS WELL?" i wish his head was saying that i want to follow her. HER being ME of course. OF COURSE.

gahhhh.

so well, the kids in the family went minigolfing for the afternoon...

then we went to the dinner later at night. it was a formal thingy. so yeah. FORMAL. but it was cool. food was good. and HE was there. ooohh. i caught him looking my way. and my cousin caught him smiling, and sneaking a picture. gosh he was cute.

then there were speeches, music... ladeedahhhh..

then we had DANCE!! we were dancing! haha it was fun.

we stayed till late cuz my lolo was still mingling. and then we had a group pic of the graduates, then the 3rd gen together. then all 3 generations. ooohhhh he was cute.

gosh i wish i had the guts to talk to him. but i didnt. theres my regret.

so after we went home, regret hit me like a huge bowling ball dropped on my head.

so i prayed and hoped that i would find a way to contact him, and that i could stay in touch. and SEE him one more time.

thank God i did.

he was there with his mom, walking around the courtyard before i left. and then i saw him pacing, around me and my cousins. wow.

well, i have his friend's number and email so i hope its good enough.

i hope i will get in contact with him. his friend's ignoring me. grrrr. well TRY AND TRY!!!

so i went out with Ate Erika last Thursday. wow that came out weird. since when do i hang out with her. yep i was shocked she called me.

YAY! she loves me.

we went to watch 27 dresses at Orchard Cineleisure. goshhh the Mr Kevin Holt is sooo HOT and the other Mr whats-his-face/her boss is okay too but hes not that nice of a person. AND geez her sister was so IRRITATING.

anyway, after the movie, we went back to my house for the bbq. though we pretty much missed it cuz the whole gang came up to the house later anyway. So we were watching...

*gasp*

Moving on... Went to Tita Connie's on Saturday cuz thats where all the kids were. The old people were upstairs in Tito Mon's house. drinking, partying, pokering...

Me, Eunice and Edison and Gitta and Tricie all ganged up on poor Ariel. poor poor ariel...

haha. i learned several new acronyms that day.

yep. so anyway, we all went home at like, 1am. and today, i went to OLPS for mass, then to... a pinoy restaurant near Al Forno.

i just went down to see the lion dance thingy at the condo. it was fun. my mom was the most excited. go figure...

the horror! and i dont even know what to study. wth.

i mean, seriously, i couldn't understand what the teacher was saying! she was going too fast. and my brain was too preoccupied with trying to copy down notes that she asked us to copy, to listen to her explanation. GEEZ I DIDNT UNDERSTAND.

ah well. just see what happens tomorrow then.

HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!

OMG. im so annoyed.

i just found out that the new Principal (Mrs Mah) and VP (Mr Sarsigaran) of Meridian didnt let most of the ex-students in. wtf.

i mean, it IS our school. We all grew up in it,made so many happy memories in it, and now we arent allowed in? how is that even fair?

and i mean no offence to you P and VP, but its more our school than yours because we were in there for 6 years! and you've only been there less than 6 months. in a way, by not letting us in, you kinda send a message saying, WE DONT WANT YOU. yet our first principal (Mr Lim) had always said, you are welcome to come back here. Now wheres the sense in THAT?

I always want to go back, but after finding out the restrictions, i feel unwelcome to go to the place which was my 2nd home. I lived half my childhood in that school and on the last day, i shed tears with my friends in the parade grounds. I injured myself several times on the compounds too. Happy, sad, tearful, joyful. All my memories are there.

And yet i feel unwelcome. All i want to do, is be able to show my support for my primary school without feeling like im treated as an outsider.

I hope one day Meridian will feel like home once more.

okay so like, i was searching through fanfiction and i realised that most people who wrote about Twilight also liked Tuck Everlasting. The connection? Both main leading guys live forever, and the girls have to make a choice to be with their love, or not. interesting. cool. awesome. yeah. im getting attached to Tuck Everlasting too, but not many good stories. as compared to Twilight.

anyway, i like my class EMPATHY. we are so united. I pity Venise yet still envy her. yeah. cuz shes prettayyyy, but she gets STALKED. omg, stalked.

So im gonna go away next weekend, and its not even holiday. That is so cool. URGH.. im so irritated by this computer. It takes AGES to sign on to MSN. ah there goes the green man and the blue man. lalalalaladeeedaaaaaa.

Hmm... my class has a MILO society. lol. i joined. most of us are in it. Bryan kinda got it started.

my head hurts. i feel bad for not making time to go back to meridian. but what to do? i had a lecture yesterday, which sucked. And today, we were let out early, but meridian also let out EARLIER. grrrr. Heard that the new P and VP are strict about ex-students. hmph. its cuz they didnt know the ex-students. irritating. speaking of MPS, i saw Mrs Wong the other Sunday with her family at Fish and Co. cool right?

hahahaha. okay. yeah. i dunt know why my head still hurts. right now im so obsessed with 1. Twilight 2. Sweeney Todd 3. Writing 4. Sleeping.

ohmygosh i forgot about something. you know the Jonas Brothers?? well now, their new song is top on 91.3fm charts. AWESOME. Singapore is getting to know JB!! im slightly irritated. Cuz my classmates dont watch american TV so they dont know certain actors, actresses. And they dont listen to too much English music, only the TOTALLY MAINSTREAM kind of music, so its kinda hard to discuss something. I guess, i'll try and get used to it. WOW, all this is going through my head, no wonder my head hurts.

oh well.
