head down to the mall,
pick out some boho-chic.
give me my scarves, my t-shirts,
my flats, my sneakers.
my oversized shades with a coutoure jacket.

and we'll waltz into the movie,
grab a seat in the back,
enjoy the thrill,
of living in another time and riddle.

but at the end of the day,
when sunset has gone,
and twilight has fallen,
one last goodbye,
and a slamming screen door.
is all that we're leaving.

OMG. im so annoyed.

i just found out that the new Principal (Mrs Mah) and VP (Mr Sarsigaran) of Meridian didnt let most of the ex-students in. wtf.

i mean, it IS our school. We all grew up in it,made so many happy memories in it, and now we arent allowed in? how is that even fair?

and i mean no offence to you P and VP, but its more our school than yours because we were in there for 6 years! and you've only been there less than 6 months. in a way, by not letting us in, you kinda send a message saying, WE DONT WANT YOU. yet our first principal (Mr Lim) had always said, you are welcome to come back here. Now wheres the sense in THAT?

I always want to go back, but after finding out the restrictions, i feel unwelcome to go to the place which was my 2nd home. I lived half my childhood in that school and on the last day, i shed tears with my friends in the parade grounds. I injured myself several times on the compounds too. Happy, sad, tearful, joyful. All my memories are there.

And yet i feel unwelcome. All i want to do, is be able to show my support for my primary school without feeling like im treated as an outsider.

I hope one day Meridian will feel like home once more.
