dear friend, we're gonna come full circle. sooner or later.

we were once best friends, sticking together till the end. then one day it just fell apart, a scar forever left on my heart.
i tried to start a conversation, making the best of our awkward situation. but then you left without a word, that was just supremely absurd.
all i wanted was to try try and turn back time. thought i think its best not to cry, but now its hard to find a star that shines.
i could remember back in those days, we'd sit together side-by-side. we'd hardly be too far away. but thats just a dream too lost to say.
i'll tell you now, that though we've fought a hundred times, it can't ever compare to when, we smiled and we were friends.
so i guess this is the end, goodbye my dear friend. i hope your still out there. happy, safe, loved by someone.
one day we shall find ourselves, coming back, full circle. i'll need you once again, i'll be too afraid to call. and maybe you'll be on the other end of that phone, wondering when to dial, what to say.
