Okay, while i'm waiting for the pictures to be transferred from phone to computer,
i'll blog about what's been happening.
hmmm.

SATURDAY.
it was boring.
Just tuition.
And we went to church.
Dinner was okay/weird.
I MEAN.
we ate at a GERMAN restaurant for goodness sake.
i saw the menu, and i was like,
WHAT THE HECK.
woah, foreign language alert.

Then yeah, went home,
revised a bit, and then slept.
EARLY.

SUNDAY.
yay church funday 2008 (:
CONFIRMATION ONE 08 ROCKS.
haha.
so yep, we went to Labrador Park to "bond".
Play games, talk, eat, blahblahblah.

First part was the AMAZING RACE.
which was killer.
cause we had to walk through this insect infested jungle.
Im FINE with insects.
mostly.
BUT EW
there were apparently snakes, and weird things crawling about, and the guys were like poking me with leaves and sticks,
SO i just had to scream.
AAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

it was seriously gross okay.

Then we went back to base camp, to eat.
PACKED LUNCH D:
oh well.
better than nothing.

Right, since most of the amazing race involved water,
my butt was wet.
my shirt dried out,
but not my butt.
HAHA.
and Andrea's too.
AWWWWWWWW,
gah, LISA LISA LISA.

I DONT KNOW HOW SHE DRIED SO FAST.

So after lunch,
we had 30min free time.
Which i took to gaze out at the sea,
and almost fall asleep.
BUT NO, everytime i felt like sleeping,
someone would come and disturb me.
@!#$!@$^&!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Green team went to play volleyball,
and the ball went into the beach area (restricted)
TWICE.
oh well, some superhero dude went to get it.

After free time was games.
Some bomber game, where TEACHER DAVID was like,
ohmy, super cheat can!
But oh we lost D:
its okay, TEAM SPIRIT WAS THERE.

After bomber was CAPTAIN'S BALL.
four teams in one game ohmygosh.
It was super messy can!
and Joshua and Russell and Mark, our dear YFs were making such a mess of it.
LOL.
specially Joshua.
HAHA.

awww, im just too biased.

Well, afterwards,
we said our closing prayer,
and went back to church.

HOHO, on the bus i sat behind Gavin and Russell,
which meant surrounding me was like, most of the YFs.
AND IT WAS CRAZY.
they came in the bus armed with their cologne and deodorant.
And they walked around spraying the whole place D:

Steven went, "the bus smells gross."
Joshua : "mix of sweat and perfume eh!"
Steven : "YEAH. ew right!"
Joshua : "Not bad ley ?"

HAHAHA.
ew ew ew ew, Joshua is officially gross.

Then like, when we were near church, around the highway next to my house,
Gavin had this great idea to wave,
and wave
and wave.
so everyone joined in haha!

EVEN BETTER.
I had this funny idea to draw a sign saying something weird,

and Gavin was like, OH YEAH.
Russell : wait wait i got a pen somewhere....
Russell : SHIT i lost my pencil case in my own bag.
Gavin : HURRY UP, we're already near church!
Russell : WAIT LA!
Gavin : oh i got paper!
Gavin : oh wait that's my exam paper.
Russell : I FOUND A PEN!
Gavin : OKAY OKAY. *takes exam paper and writes*

(can you imagine how hyper they can get? OVER A SIMPLE SIGN)

he drew this sign that said,
KISS ME ->
and put it on the screen.
HOWEVER,
the arrow was pointing at me.

RAHHHHH.

But anyway,
when we reached Marine Parade Library stoplight,
There was this van that stopped next to us,
and there were two kids, the dad and the mom in front.
WE STARTED WAVING LIKE CRAZY.
And the dad was like, OMG.
Cause more than half the bus rushed to one side to wave.

we must have looked like maniacs.
HAHA.

Then Gavin asked Russell to hold the sign in such a way that it looked like he wasn't wearing his shirt,
and then Gavin took his extra shirt and waved it around and around.
THEN THE MAN IN THE VAN WAS SUPER PAISEH LOOKING HAHAHA.

oh yeah,
that day was fun.
And i realised how close our church CAN be.
you know,
how fun it can be (:
And how awesomely rocking our YFs are.
AHEMAHEM.
